Follower of Dutch football ever since a small child due to having family from the country. Grew up to stories of Marco van Basten, Johan Cruyff, and Ruud Gullit dominating football. Love the elegance and attacking flair of Dutch football and long for it to be back to its glory days! One day the Oranje will claim the World Cup, and Football_Oranje will be there to cover it!

I am an Englishman living in the Netherlands. My interest in Dutch football began as a 7 year old, seeing Bergkamp scoring that goal against Argentina in World Cup 98. Years of Champions Manager addiction have helped me follow the careers of Edgar Davids, Patrick Kluivert, Clarence Seedorf et al with keen interest. Follow @andybooth100 on Twitter.
Jake Davison – Co-editor
I’m a student from Newcastle, England who’s always been interested in the world of football. I started watching the Eredivisie to find a league of diverse playing styles and an overwhelming focus on young talent; all in all a refreshing change from the EPL. My articles are opinion based and usually about individual players with focus on technical analysis. You can follow me on twitter at: @_JakeD

I’m a student from the UK and a massive Eredivisie fan. Started watching after being inspired by the Netherlands national team after the 2010 World Cup. Wilfred Bouma also has a big part to play in my initial keen interest in the league, being an Aston Villa fan meant I wanted to keep track of my favourite player. Tweet me: @EredivisieMike
Nick van Ruiven- Writer
I am Nick van Ruiven. A 26-year old Dutchman with a passion for football. I have been writing football stories for quite a while now, first for my local non-league team but more recently I got into writing about professional football too. In the Eredivsie I support Ajax because of their philosophy of playing “proper football” and doing it with young talented players. If you’d like to follow me on Twitter feel free to do so, @nickvanruiven.

“Another Englishman living in the Netherlands, I have called Amsterdam ‘home’ for the past five years. Though the current Eredivisie style and standard isn’t for everyone, the bigger picture of Dutch football has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. How has such a small nation had such a far-reaching impact on world football? The answer lies somewhere within the teams, the coaches, the players, the philosophies, and the national obsession with thinking and talking about voetbal. David Winner put it best: ‘the neurotic genius of Dutch football’. Its seductive stuff, and i’ve always enjoyed thinking, talking, and writing about it all. Find me on Twitter @glennbills.”

Ryan Ferguson- Writer
I’m Ryan Ferguson, a budding freelance sportswriter from Wirral, UK. A fanatical Tranmere Rovers fan, I first fell in love with Dutch football in 2004, when Channel 5 would broadcast its Eredivisie Game of the Week. As a kid, I would often stay awake until 1 am just to get my fix of Dutch football. Guus Hiddink’s great PSV teams, awash with fantastic players such as Mark van Bommel, Mateja Kežman, Phillip Cocu and Arjen Robben, won my heart and support. I watch plenty of Dutch football, and typically write opinion-based columns in addition to more extensive historical investigations.
