Heracles continued their excellent start to the season with a hard fought 1-0 win over ADO Den Haag at the Kyocera Stadion.

The home side started as the brighter side with the height of Mike Havenaar causing problems for the Heracles defence, but the forward could not orchestrate the opening goal, although he had an effort chalked off for an alleged infringement.
Against the run of play Heracles had the lead on 38 minutes with a simple long ball from Woute Droste finding Wout Weghorst on the edge of the box and the striker sent a header into the bottom corner.
In form Oussama Tannane squandered a good chance early in the second half to double Heracles lead, while ADO Den Haag struck the post late on from a Havenaar header.
Heracles held on for the three points which lifts them up to second, while ADO Den Haag sit 12th.
