The home side went into the game on the back of four straight defeats and after only 20 minutes they were on course for a fifth as Davy Klaassen’s throw-in found its way back to him from Lasse Schone and the Ajax captain fired past Setkus.
Ajax completely dominated possession but they had to wait until the 52nd minute to score their second as Bertrand Traore latched onto a great through ball by Amin Younes before finding the net.
Anwar El Ghazi then came off the bench and tormented the hosts defence for the final half hour but the winger couldn’t add to the scoreline as Ajax settled for just the two goals. Ajax remain five points behind Feyenoord in second while ADO Den Haag are 10th.
Bazoer & El Ghazi need to play more! I like Younes, but I think Sinkgraven would be great on that leftwing although he has done well at leftback! I’m not sold on Traore and I’m a big Dolberg fan so far…the kid is seemingly going places!
