The first half was a low key affair, with ADO Den Haag creating the best chances with Danny Holla seeing a shot saved by Ten Rouwelaar, before Roland Alberg fired wide.
NAC took the lead on 55 minutes, with Elson Hooi running onto a brilliant through ball by Rydell Poepon and poking the ball past Zwinkels and into the net.
The lead only lasted eight minutes before ADO Den Haag equalised in strange circumstances. NAC defenders Drost and De Roover got in each other’s way in front of goal, and Alberg slid in to tap the ball into the net.
Mike van Duinen missed a good chance to give ADO Den Haag the lead, but his header from Holla’s free kick flew wide, and both sides had to settle for a point.
ADO remain 15th, and NAC stay 10th.
