RKC kept themselves off the bottom of the table by beating fellow relegation candidates ADO Den Haag 2-1 in the Hague.

RKC temporarily dropped to the bottom of the table after NEC Nijmegen beat Roda JC earlier on Saturday, and they went in against 15th placed ADO Den Haag desperate for a win.
The away side got off to a great start as Kenny Anderson headed them in front from close range after only seven minutes.
ADO Den Haag looked for an equaliser before the break, but Michiel Kramer, and Mike van Duinen both wasted efforts for the hosts.
Early in the second half RKC were awarded a penalty after a poor challenge by ADO defender Vito Wormgoor, but Coutinho stopped Sander Duits poor spot-kick.
On 82 minutes Anderson got his second, and RKC’s after a lovely clipped finish over Coutinho when played through on the right hand side.
In the final minute ADO Den Haag were given a glimmer of hope as Tom Beugelsdijk headed in, but it proved to be nothing but a consolation as RKC held on for the win.
The win lift RKC out of the bottom three, with ADO Den Haag replacing them in the relegation zone. This result may just prove crucial for both sides at the end of the season.
