van duinen bThe first chance of the game fell to the visitors after 17 minutes, when Youness Mokhtar ran to the byline, and found Dusan Tadic at the back post. However the winger fired just over the bar on the half volley.

On 38 minutes, ADO Den Haag had their first chance with Danny Holla seeing a free-kick from the edge of the box deflected just wide.

Twente then missed two guilt edged chances before half time, with Quincy Promes volleying over from a few yards, before Kyle Ebecilio fired wide when free in the box.

Five minutes into the second half, ADO Den Haag took the lead when Danny Bakker headed in a free-kick from the left hand side.

It was 2-0 on 54 minutes, with Ninos Gouriye slotting the ball into the net from inside the box, after Nick Marsman had saved from Gehrt.

Danny Holla then nearly beat Marsman with a chipped free kick from close to the halfway line, but it drifted inches wide.

Twente then pulled a goal back with 20 minutes left, as Luc Castaignos finished from close range as the ADO Den Haag defence went walk about.

With 15 minutes left, Twente were level when right back Roberto Rosales burst into the box, and finished brilliantly over Coutinho.

Mike van Duinen was then the hero for the home side, as he scored one of the goals of the season to win the game 3-2. Picking up the ball in his own half, the forward steamed past numerous challenges before smashing the ball into the roof of the net. Watch the goal here.

The win lifts ADO Den Haag out of the bottom three into 15th, while Twente will more than likely be knocked off the top spot by the end of the weekend.
