Aleksandar Rankovic is officially the new head coach of ADO Den Haag.

The club confirmed last month that Alan Pardew would not remain at the club after his contract expired.

ADO Den Haag have now turned to Rankovic, who leaves his role as assistant at Sparta Rotterdam and signs a two-year deal.

Rankovic will be assisted by Richard Knopper, Michele Santoni and Rick Hoogendorp, while Martin Jol remains in a technical role.

Rankovic told the club’s website, “This step makes me very proud and happy. This is a special moment, because I played at ADO Den Haag for a long time and also worked there as a youth trainer.ย That’s why this feels like coming home.ย It is also great that I can now work as a head coach.”
