ADO Den Haag have confirmed the signing of midfielder Marko Vejinovic on a deal until the summer of 2022.

ADO Den Haag has already brought in Daryl Janmaat in recent days and they have further strengthened their squad with the arrival of Vejinovic.

The 30-year-old was most recently with Polish side Arka Gdynia but his deal was terminated in July. He then trained with Volendam but did not sign a contract as he wanted to join an Eredivisie side.

Vejinovic told the club website, “This step feels very good to me. I immediately had a warm and pleasant feeling about the club and the project they are working on. There is positive energy at the club and I would like to be part of it. I have seen many matches and believe in the potential of the selection. Hopefully we can quickly find our way up together with ADO.”

The former Netherlands U21 international has played for AZ Alkmaar, Heracles Almelo, Vitesse Arnhem and Feyenoord during his career.
