Sky Sports reported on Wednesday that the defender was present during Blackpool’s defeat to Derby on Tuesday, and that Beugelsdijk held talks with the English sides officials.
Beugelsdijk is out of contract with ADO Den Haag in the summer, and is reportedly being chased by a number of Scottish and English clubs.
However in an interview with ELF Voetbal, Beugelsdijk has stated that his trip to Blackpool was not transfer related, and he is also open to signing a new deal with ADO Den Haag.
Beugelsdijk said, “We had two days off and I indeed witnessed a Blackpool game. But I go quite often to England to watch a good game, the atmosphere there is fantastic.”
“In two weeks there will be a trip to Newcastle United on the program. But it does not mean that everywhere I will sign a contract.”
“My focus is entirely at ADO Den Haag. First I want to close this season and then we go into a discussion. A longer stay in The Hague is in any case possible. “
