ADO Den Haag recorded their second victory of the season on Saturday with a slender 1-0 win over VVV Venlo.

The game was even heading into stoppage time of the first half when Shaquille Pinas met a free-kick to tap ADO Den Haag into the lead.
The home side remained in charge after the break but they failed to find a killer second goal. In the 70th minute, VVV’s chances of a comeback were ended when Danny Post was shown his second yellow card.
Before the end, ADO Den Haag handed debuts to loanee’s Crysencio Summerville and Pawel Cibicki, but they failed to add a second goal.
The win lifts ADO Den Haag up to 10th while VVV Venlo are 11th.
