ADO Den Haag has completed its sixth summer signing with the arrival of Villarreal right-back Andrei Ratiu on loan.

The Romanian full-back has been playing with Villarreal’s B team but now makes the move to the Netherlands.

Ratiu told the club’s website, “I am very happy with my move to ADO Den Haag.

“I see this as a step forward. There were many opportunities to continue my career in Spain, but I think that a transition to the Dutch Eredivisie is the best choice at the moment. I will give everything for this club, because I would like to pay back the club’s trust and effort to get me in. It feels like an honor to be able to play and compete in this shirt, looking forward to meeting the fans at the Cars Jeans Stadium, where I hope to experience many wonderful evenings.”

ADO Den Haag has already signed Peet Bijen, Kees de Boer, Samy Bourard, Amar Catic and Boy Kemper this summer.
