The 27-year-old becomes Henk Fraser’s third signing of the window after deals for Wilson Eduardo and Evander Sno, and joins until the end of the season.
Jakovenko is an experienced winger, who has previously played for eight different club including Metalist Kharkiv, Genk and Anderlecht. The Ukrainian joined Fiorentina in 2013, but only made three league appearances for the Italians, and spent a period of last year on loan with Spanish side Malaga.
The winger will go straight into the ADO Den Haag squad for their tie against FC Twente on Wednesday.
