According to De Telegraaf, Nicolas Tagliafico could be set to stay at Ajax after discussions over a new deal.

The Argentinian looked almost certain to leave Ajax this summer and has been heavily linked with Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, and Leicester City.

However, no deal has materialised and now it looks likely that Tagliafico will remain in Amsterdam. According to De Telegraaf, talks have begun over a new deal for the defender.

Any deal would include a fixed fee that Tagliafico could leave for next summer. His current deal expires in 2022.
