According to Globoesporte, Ajax are interested in signing Gremio winger Eduardo Gabriel Aquino Cossa, better known as Pepê.

Ajax have already raided the Brazilian market in recent months to seal deals for Antony and Giovanni, but it seems the Amsterdammers are not done yet.

According to Globoesporte, Ajax are battling Bayern Munich to sign Gremio’s 23-year-old attacker Pepe. Both clubs are concrete for the forward, but an offer will only be made when the transfer window opens in the summer.

Pepê has a contract with Grêmio until 2022 and has made 64 appearances for the club, scoring 12 goals and adding five assists.
