Ajax have sealed the signing of Heerenveen defender Kik Pierie on a five-year deal.

Pierie has been linked with a move to Amsterdam for months and the deal was almost certain when the defender was spotted at the Ajax training ground last week.
Ajax have now confirmed his arrival on a five-year deal which will begin in the summer. A fee hasn’t been confirmed but De Telegraaf believe it is around €5 million.
The Netherlands U19 international, who was born in Boston, came through the Heerenveen academy and has made 67 official appearances for the Frisians.
The 18-year-old becomes the second Ajax signing for the summer after Ravzan Marin.
