The hugely talented 16-year-old striker recently stated his intentions to remain in Amsterdam despite interest from Manchester United and Red Bull Leipzig.
However, that situation has now changed with Ajax head of youth Said Ouaali confirming that Redan has refused to sign a contract and hinted that he has had his head turned by another club.
Oualli said, “We have made a plan for him and had a lot of talks with Daishawn and his management. It’s a shame that he will not sign his first contract here.
“We think that he has made a decision about another club.”
Speaking to VI recently, Redan confirmed that he was interested in Manchester United, “I hear a lot of rumours around me and I will not deny that there are clubs that are interested.
“Manchester United is a very nice and good club of course and I must admit that I am interested in an adventure like that.”

And sit on the bench at united ? Mourinho does not bring young players through ,look how Marcus Rashford has gone backwards this season ,and when Ibrahimovic goes Mourinho will go and buy another experienced top striker ..It’s the money that’s turning his head ..I guess you cannot blame him..The vultures of the English Premiership with all their money continue to take youngsters bought through the Dutch academies clubs .. would have been nice to see Daishawn give a few seasons to Ajax and establish himself as a player and not just a prospect
