De Telegraaf are reporting that the Police are still unable to give any new update on the mans injuries, and wont comment on whether he is in a critical condition.
Thousands of fans were witness to the man falling from the F-side after celebrating Danny Hoesen’s goal which put Ajax 2-0 up. Pictures were revealed around the media, showing the man laying on his stomach surrounded by blood.
Ambulances arrived at half time, to take the man to hospital, but some fans have been critical of match officials not acting quickly enough to help.
Ajax are still unsure on how the incident happened, but after reviewing camera footage they do not believe that the man was pushed by fellow fans.
The club have now announced a meeting with fans, to discuss the incident, which will feature medical staff, but no media are allowed to attend.
Ajax coach Frank de Boer posted on twitter after hearing of the incident, “Besides the great victory, the terrible accident with the supporters keeps us preoccupied today. Much strength for him and his family.”
