The draw for the group stage of the Europa League took place on Friday with Ajax, Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar all learning their opponents.

Ajax were seeded in the first pot for the draw and landed in Group G along with Belgian side Standard Liege, Celta Vigo of Spain and Greek outfit Panathinaikos.
Second seeded AZ will battle Russian side Zenit st Petersburg, Maccabi tel Aviv of Israel and Irish side Dundalk in group D.
Feyenoord have been handed the toughest test of all the Dutch sides after falling in group A with Manchester United, Fenerbahce and Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk. The group will be special for Fenerbahce’s Robin van Persie who will return to Rotterdam where he started his career and Manchester United where he spent three years before moving to Turkey.
