Luis Manuel Orejuela has left Ajax to join Brazilian side Cruzeiro on a permanent deal.

Ajax bought the full-back from Deportivo Cali for around €3.5 million back in 2017 but Orejuela failed to make an impression in Amsterdam.
In the summer, the Colombian joined Cruzeiro on loan and the Brazilian side had an option to make the deal permanent.
That option has now been lifted, despite the club’s relegation this season. They announced today that they had bought 50% of Orejuela’s transfer rights for €1.3 million.
