According to Voetbal International, Rapid Vienna centre-back Maximilian Wöber is Ajax’s primary target to replace Davinson Sanchez.

Sanchez’s departure to Tottenham was confirmed on Friday leaving Ajax short of options in the centre of defence. Carlos Cuesta of Atlético Nacional was initially Ajax’s prime target, but they have now turned their attention to Maximilian Wöber.
The 19-year-old was the subject of a €5 million bid from Ajax earlier this summer, but that offer was rejected by Rapid Vienna. A new bid closer to €10 million is set to be submitted by Marc Overmars as the club look to quickly fill the void left by Sanchez.
