Ajax coach Frank de Boer is said to be seriously interested in adding the duo to his squad this summer, and is even willing to offer winger Jody Lukoki as part of the deal.
Former Feyenoord midfielder Kamehelo Mokotjo moved to PEC Zwolle last summer, with the 23-year-old going on to impress in his 27 league appearances. Usually a defensive midfielder, Mokotjo may be signed as a replacement for Christian Poulsen who left Amsterdam last month.
Goalkeeper Diederik Boer has spent his whole career with PEC Zwolle, with the 33-year-0ld making over 290 appearances for the club. With Kenneth Vermeer set to depart Ajax this summer, Boer could be brought in as back-up to number one Jasper Cillessen.
PEC Zwolle do not want to see either player leave, especially since they take part in the Europa League this season, but the lure of the Eredivisie champions may prove too tempting.
