It has been 25-years since Ajax last lifted the Champions League trophy with a 1-0 win over AC Milan. Ajax’s stars have taken to Twitter to remember the famous night in Vienna.

Back on the 24th of May 1995, Ajax battled AC Milan for the Champions League trophy in Vienna. Louis van Gaal’s young side clashed with Fabio Capello’s experienced Italians.

The game was tight, but in the 85th minute, 18-year-old substitute Patrick Kluivert toed the ball into the net to give Ajax victory and their fourth and last Champions League trophy.

The Ajax stars including Kluivert have taken to Twitter to remember the historic night.
