NEC Nijmegen have completed a double move on the transfer market today.  The bottom side have signed two players on loan from league leaders Ajax. Striker Geoffrey Castillion and defender Danzell Gravenberch agreed to go out on loan to the Eredivisie strugglers in a bid to get more game time under their belts.

gravenberchGeoffrey Castillion will be extremely relieved and delighted with this move as he saw a permanent move to Bulgarian side Botev Plovdiv fall through earlier this week due to failed medical.
19-year-old Danzell Gravenberch is yet to make his Eredivisie debut, but he has featured for Jong Ajax in the second tier of Dutch football.

NEC’s technical director Edo Ophof said on his club’s web site that he is very pleased to have the young Ajax duo on board: “Geoffrey and Danzell offer our squad a little bit more depth. Danzell is  multifunctional player capable of covering more than one position and Geoffrey is a striker who will add some more dynamic to our forward play. Those additions were needed to make sure our squad up to the task.

Ophof went on to say that they are still looking to bring in even more players before the transfer deadline passes on January 31.
