According to Voetbal International, Ajax can forget about signing Richarlison with the Brazilian winger heading for England.

Ajax have been locked in talks to sign the Brazilian forward for weeks and although a deal looked close, they have now been trumped by an offer from England, believed to be from Watford.

The Premier League side have sneaked in and using their financial muscle have beaten off competition from Amsterdam for the 20-year-old, who is currently with Fluminense.

Ajax are still looking to strengthen their attack and defence before the transfer window shuts at the end of next month. So far only Klaas-jan Huntelaar and Benjamin van Leer have been signed this summer.
