Hakim Ziyech has already sealed a move away this summer to Chelsea, and Ajax are expecting both Nicolas Tagliafico and Andre Onana to follow him.
However, Ajax are not expecting to lose many other key players, with the transfer market set to be affected by the corona virus. Sergino Dest’s move to Bayern Munich seemed inevitable but it is now in doubt. Donny van de Beek could also remain in Amsterdam if Real Madrid and Manchester United do not come in with a mega bid.
Joel Veltman could be allowed to depart if the club receives a good offer, while Ravzan Marin and Edson Alvarez could also leave after failing to impress.
David Neres is only just recovering from a serious injury and Ajax believe he will stay at the club for another season as club’s may wait to see if he has made a full recovery.
Ajax are expected to enter the transfer market to sign replacements for Onana and Tagliafico. AZ Alkmaar’s Owen Wijndal is a serious target.
