Ajax Amsterdam have been nominated for the best football club in the world award. Other Clubs to be nominated are Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, FC Basel and Juventus.

The Award will be presented at the Globe Soccer Conference in Dubai which is to be held on 28th and 29th of December.
Ajax are nominated because not only have they been Eredivisie Champions for the past four years but they also focus on bringing youth players through into their first team.
The Jury consists of 14 major figures from the world of football including Luis Figo, Adriano Galliani, Fabio Capello, Miguel Angel Gil and Rob Jansen.
The first such conference was held in 2010.
