Fiorentina midfielder and captain Borja Valero wants to avoid Ajax in the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa league.

Ajax find themselves in the competition after finishing 3rd in group H of the champions league behind Barcelona and AC Milan. Fiorentina on the other hand will go in as one of the seeded teams having finished top of group E with five wins and a draw.
“We have faith in ourselves and fear nobody, even if every team is difficult,” the Spanish midfielder told Sky Sport Italia.
“Avoiding Porto and Ajax would be a good start. Juventus and Napoli coming down to the Europa League is not good for Italian football.
Last season the Amsterdammers went out in the round of 32 losing 3-2 on aggregate to Romanian club Steaua Bucharest. However after a positive showing in the Champions League, the feeling around Ajax is that they could go far in the Europa League this year.
The draw for the round of 32 and the round of 16 of the Europa league takes place on Monday 16th December in Nyon Switzerland.
