According to VI, Ajax are targeting AZ Alkmaar’s Ridgeciano Haps as they look for a new left-back. Roda JC goalkeeper Benjamin van Leer is also a target for the Amsterdammers.  

Ajax have been following Haps closely for two years, but are now ready to make a serious move for the 24-year-old, as they seek a new left-back. However, Haps still has a two-year contract with AZ, and the Alkmaar club won’t let on of their key players leave on the cheap.

Ajax are also looking for a back-up goalkeeper for Andre Onana after Diederik Boer left for PEC Zwolle, and have set their sights on Roda JC’s Benjamin van Leer. The 25-year-old is top of Ajax’s wish list and they have contacted Roda JC to begin negotiations. A deal is expected to be done before Ajax leave for Austria on Monday.
