After the signing of Mateo Casierra this week, Ajax are set to complete a deal for another Colombian with Davinson Sanchez close to sealing a move to Amsterdam.

According to De Telegraaf, Ajax will pay €5 million to sign the 20-year-old centre back from Atlético Nacional, with Sanchez to undergo his medical and sign his five-year contract on Monday.
It was believed that Ajax had put their move for Sanchez on hold until Mike van der Hoorn and Ricardo van Rhijn were sold, but after FC Basel entered the race to sign the youngster, the club have moved quickly to seal a deal.
Sanchez has made 13 league appearances for Atletico Nacional since 2013, and is a Colombia U23 international. He will be Ajax’s second signing of the summer, with the club still looking to bring in an experienced striker and a winger. Van Rhijn, van der Hoorn, Thulani Serero and Arkaduisz Milik are all expected to leave the club this summer.
