According to various reports, Ajax are closing in on the signing of Brian Brobbey, Calvin Bassey and Francisco Conceição.

Saturday morning brought news from Portuguese outlet ‘Record’ that Ajax had agreed to sign Porto youngster Francisco Conceição. Ajax will pay €5 million to sign the 19-year-old forward, who has already agreed personal terms with the Amsterdam club.

Later in the day, De Telegraaf reported that Ajax are close to agreeing a fee with RB Leipzig to bring Brian Brobbey back to the club. Ajax will pay around €17 million to bring the striker back to the club a year after he left on a free.

Brobbey rejoined Ajax on loan in January and made it clear he wanted to make the move back permanent. Brobbey even turned down an approach from Manchester United and will now complete his return to the Johan Cruijff ArenA.

A third deal is also close with Fabrizio Romano announcing that Ajax had agreed to a €22 million fee with Rangers to sign defender Calvin Bassey. The deal could rise to €27 million with bonuses while there is a sell on clause included.

The left-back/centre-back will now undergo his medical before signing his contract. The 22-year-old is the intended replacement for Lisandro Martinez, who will seal his move to Manchester United for €54 million with an extra €10 million in bonuses.

Ajax have already signed Owen Wijndal and Steven Bergwijn this summer.
