After running down his contract at Willem II, the 25 year old keeper has signed for Ajax on a free transfer, putting pen to paper on a one year deal.
Andre Onana will remain first choice for the Dutch giants, while recent Roda JC signing Benjamin van Leer will be expected to deputise after Diederik Boer’s return to PEC Zwolle. The Amsterdam side were only forced back into the market after it was revealed that Jong Ajax keeper Norbert Alblas will be sidelined for an extended period with a broken wrist
Lamprou, a highly experienced Eredivisie keeper with well over one hundred appearances, will provide competition in goal as Ajax look to build on a successful yet trophy-less season.
