Hoesen has flown out to Greece to undergo a medical, and put pen to paper on the deal which will last until the summer. There is no agreement to make the deal permanent in the summer.
Italian side Livorno, Belgians Zulte Waregem, and Eredivisie side Roda JC had all shown interest in the striker, but Hoesen has decided to join Dutch coach Huub Stevens in Greece.
The 23-year-old is in his second season at the Amsterdam Arena having joined from Fulham in 2012, but has failed to hold down a regular place in Frank de Boer’s first team.
Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, Bojan, and Siem de Jong are all ahead of Hoesen in the pecking order at Ajax, with the move to PAOK seen as an opportunity for the striker to gain first team football.
PAOK have already signed Maarten Martens from AZ, and former Ajax defender Hedwiges Maduro in January.
hope he’ll back to ArenA with a lot of experince..
