The draw for the last 16 of the Champions League was made on Monday with Ajax drawn against defending champions Real Madrid.

Ajax are undefeated in the competition so far and came second in their group behind Bayern Munich. Their reward for reaching the last 16 is a match-up against Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The defending Champions League champions are having a disappointing campaign by their standards and currently sit fourth in La Liga. They topped their Champions League group ahead of AS Roma, but were battered 3-0 at home to CSKA Moscow in the final group game.

Ajax will play the first game at home on the 12, 13, 19 or 20th of February. The returns are scheduled for 5, 6, 12 and 13th of March.
