According to Sport, Memphis Depay has been told he can leave Barcelona with a number of clubs circling the forward.

The arrival of Raphina and Robert Lewandowski, along with the renewal of Ousmane Dembele, have left Memphis Depay in a difficult situation.

The Dutchman was the club’s top scorer last season but he has reportedly been told by Barcelona chiefs that he should leave the club as he will get no playing time. Memphis has made it clear he wants to stay, but it appears he has no future in Catalonia.

Sport is reporting that Ajax is interested in signing the Dutch international, but they face stiff competition from Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma, and Juventus. Tottenham Hotspur is said to be putting in the most work to sign the striker.

Barcelona is reportedly asking for €20 million which has annoyed the Memphis camp, who believe they should accept a lower fee if they are looking to force him out. Memphis only has one year left on his contract.
