Ajax have set their sights on bringing Davy Klaassen back to the club before the transfer window shuts next week.
However, the club’s first offer of €7 million up front with an extra €5 million in bonuses has been rejected by Werder Bremen.
According to BILD, Ajax have returned with a second offer which is €9 million up front with €3 million in bonuses. Werder Bremen are reportedly holding out for €15 million, which is what they paid Everton to sign the midfielder.
A deal is negotiable with Werder Bremen looking to raise funds and should be done by the weekend.
