Nathan Ake is 100% focused on Manchester City despite being heavily linked with a move back to Chelsea earlier this summer.

The Netherlands international was linked with a move to his former club earlier in the summer, but the move broke down and he will remain at Manchester City.
Speaking to Manchester Evening News, Ake said after starting the 1-0 win over Bayern Munich, “I’m 100 percent focused on the club, I’m very happy to be here. I’m trying to improve myself and make my minutes.”
On the interest from Chelsea, he added, “It all happened during my vacation. When I started training again, I was 100 percent focused on City. I was happy to be back at the club and to see everyone again.”
Ake doesn’t mind if he is played at left-back, “I’m willing to play in any position. It’s going to be a long season, I just want to be ready. Every preparation offers new opportunities, now it’s all about getting fit and getting yourself ready for the competitions to come.”
