According to De Telegraaf, Al-Jazira has set their sights on Jong Ajax boss Michael Reiziger as Marcel Keizer’s replacement.

Keizer left the Abu Dhabi based club last week to take over at Sporting club de Portugal. The 49-year-old took over Al-Jazira from another Dutchman, Henk ten Cate, who retired last year.

De Telegraaf is reporting that Al-Jazira are ready to make it three Dutchmen in a row and have identified Michael Reiziger as their ideal successor to Keizer. Contact has already been made with Ajax to see if a departure is negotiable.

Reiziger, who has been in charge of Jong Ajax since last season, has not made a decision on whether he wants to move to the Middle-East.
