Pastoor started with a strong line-up against the Eerste Divisie side but despite their early dominance, they couldn’t find the net and were eventually stunned by a Dylan Seys goal in the second half.

After the game, Pastoor told NOS, ”I believe that the attitude of my players was embarrassing tonight.

”As a professional sportsman you do everything you can to achieve a positive result but we did not manage to do that. I ask myself how such a thing can happen. Did I pick the wrong starting lineup?, Did we not prepare well enough? Did we use the wrong tactics?

”The manner in which we lost tonight means I will find it hard to sleep.

”I ask myself why the aggression that we showed at the beginning and the end of the game why we cannot always show that in games. You can put that down to the wrong choices that I have more or it’s down to the players.”
