Groenendijk said, ”The game could have gone either way tonight. We have not always bossed games this season and we must also learn to be more relaxed in ball possession.

”At half-time I told my players that we could go on to win this game and in football sometimes you get too much or too little. We are really happy with the victory.

”We have had to deal with the suspensions of Edouard Duplan and Tom Beugelsdijk but I have always maintained that we have a good squad.

”I believe that the squad I have has always had a good attitude. The players worked hard and you must also enjoy and cherish victories because I believe in football that does not happen often enough.”
