Ajax defender Edson Alvarez has revealed that Manchester City is his dream club.

The centre-back, who can also play in midfield, joined Ajax in the summer but has failed to live upto expectations so far. He has only made 12 appearances in the Eredivisie.
Alvarez struggled with being separated from his family, but they are now reunited in Amsterdam and the Mexican is feeling much happier.
The 22-year-old said during an Ajax Q&A on their Instagram account, “Now I can use the time to be with my family. My daughter is doing well, she is healthy and that is the most important thing. It is nice to see how she grows and learns new things every day. That is then it’s great that I can now see that every day. “
Alvarez also revealed that he is dreaming of a move to Premier League giants Manchester City, who he apparently supported as a young child.
He said, “I would really like to play for Manchester City one day
“I have been following that club since childhood and I think it is a really nice club, I am a fan. So if I had to choose I would like to play for City.”
