Roda JC manager Yannis Anastasiou spoke to the NOS after his team’s impressive 3-1 home in against Sparta Rotterdam to lift Roda JC out of the relegation play-offs.

Roda went into the game sitting second bottom but a double from Abdul Ajagun and a Mikhail Rosheuvel tap-in saw them down Sparta and move up to 15th with three games left.
Anastasiou said, ”Tonight was a great win for the team and our supporters but we are still not yet safe. We must keep our focus and continue with the same belief and attitude in all our remaining games.
”We play with a lot of confidence at home. The players seem to play with a different feeling when they play at home.
”I have no idea how many points we still need to stay up. But I have stated that I feel that 34 points is enough to be safe in the Eredivisie, We shall see what will happen in the final weeks of the season.”
