Nicolai Jorgensen suffered another injury setback during Jong Feyenoord’s tie with Jong Heerenveen on Monday.

The 28-year-old forward has only managed to make two short appearances from the bench so far this season and was not risked against Emmen on Sunday due to their artificial pitch.

On Monday, Jorgensen started for Jong Feyenoord against Jong Heerenveen but after 15 minutes he was substituted with another injury.

The severity of the new setback is not yet known but Jaap Stam will be hoping it was just a small knock for his main striker.
