According to Di Marzio, Chelsea midfielder Marco Van Ginkel had to undergo more knee surgery on Thursday.

The midfielder has missed the whole season so far after undergoing surgery in the summer. There was some optimism that he could return before the end of the campaign, but van Ginkel has suffered another setback.
Di Marzio is reporting that the 26-year-old had more surgery on his knee in Rome on Thursday and his recovery will now take even longer.
It is another blow for the Dutch international, whose career has been constantly hindered by issues.
Van Ginkel spent last season with PSV Eindhoven, scoring fourteen times in 28 league games. He is expected to depart Chelsea this summer but this new setback could hinder any transfer.
