The Bundesliga Champions are heavy favourites to move into the semi finals of the competition, with Manchester United a shadow of the team that won the Premier League title last season.
Despite the troubles that Manchester United have faced this season, Bayern’s Dutch winger Arjen Robben believes his side has to be on guard against David Moyes’s side.
Robben told Der Meister Rekord, “We must be on our guard., The media and supporters say that United is not in good shape, but they are as usual in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. It will be a tough fight. You can not relax against a team like United”
Robben also spoke of his disappointment that he will not face his international team mate Robin van Persie, who misses both legs with injury.
He added, “It’s a shame that he can not participate.Towards the end of the season, everyone wants to be fit. If you’re not, that sucks. I also have experience with it.”
