Eerste Divisie side MVV have confirmed the loan signing of Arsenal’s 19-year-old defender Zak Swanson.

The English full-back was a regular at right-back for Arsenal’s U23s last season, and will hope for plenty of first-team experience in the Netherlands to further his development.
It’s not the first time MVV have loaned players from Arsenal; Kelechi Nwakali and Stefan O’Connor have had loan spells with the Eerste Divisie side.
MVV finished 15th in last season’s curtailed campaign. They are short on first-team players at the moment ahead of the new season, but Swanson will offer competition for right-back and left-back positions.
