Arsenal have become the latest club to be linked with a big money move for Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

The Dutchman’s performances in the Premier League have led to him becoming one of the most sought out players in the league, with Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea all heavily linked with a summer move.
However, The Mirror are now reporting that Arsenal are hoping to trump all their rivals to sign the 25-year-old as Arsene Wenger plans an overhaul of his squad. The Arsenal boss sees the Dutch international as the perfect recruit as he plans to move forward with a three at the back formation.
Any move for Van Dijk is likely to be costly, however, with Southampton slapping a £50 million price tag on the centre-back.
