The 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan with Dordrecht, left FC Twente for Serie B side Novara in the summer and has been making a big impression in Italy.

Da Cruz has made 14 appearances for Novara, scoring five times and adding two assists. His performances have reportedly caught the eye of Premier League side’s Arsenal, Southampton, Brighton and Swansea City, who have all watched the winger in action, according to The Mirror.

The former Netherlands U18 international, who can also represent Cave Verde, started his career in Ajax’s academy before a spell with Almere City. He joined FC Twente in 2014, and made four appearances in their first team, but spent last season on loan with Dordrecht. In 29 appearances for the Eerste Divisie side he netted five times.
