Suliman captained England’s U19s to Euro 2017 success last year, and looks forward to playing in the Dutch Eredivisie. “At Aston Villa I’ve played mainly in the youth teams, so I’m looking forward to playing in front of sold-out crowds.”
The 20-year-old has enjoyed loan spells with EFL sides Cheltenham Town and Grimsby Town in the last couple of years. The defender made his Villa debut last season in a League Cup victory over Wigan Athletic, but has yet to make any further appearances for the first team.
Can Suliman make a break through to the Aston Villa first team after a good season with FC Emmen? We’ll be sure to keep Villa fans up to date with his progress throughout the season on Football-Oranje.com.
