Serie A side Atalanta have confirmed the signing of Heracles Almelo full back Robin Gosens.

A statement appeared on the Heracles website which read, “Robin Gosens has moved from the Eredivisie to the Italian Serie A.
“Heracles Almelo and Atalanta have agreed on a transfer for the defender, who has signed a two-year contract with an option for another two.”
The 22-year-old German had been with Heracles since 2015 and made 51 appearances for the club, scoring four goals.
