According to RTV Noord, AZ Alkmaar are hoping to sign Groningen winger Oussama Idrissi.

AZ have lost Dabney Dos Santos and Fred Friday in the window and John van den Brom is hoping to bring in a new attacker before the second half of the season begins.

According to RTV Noord, their target is Groningen winger Oussama Idrissi, with the Netherlands U21 international reportedly available for around €2.5 million.

RTV Noord’s reporter Elwin Baas was at Groningen’s training session in Marbella and noticed activity around Idrissi, who was locked in conversation with coach Ernest Faber and his fellow teammates, presumably after speaking to his agent.

Idrissi has made 63 appearances for Groningen, scoring 13 goals and adding ten assists.
